Housing designs for sustainable development in South America.
The designs are expected to attach importance to technical, climatic and social aspects. Over 90% of the houses are self-built without professional support. This projects task was to develop a “construction manual” for self-building. Out of a simple start cell a respectable house arises step by step. Every stage is successively constructed in a way that it is climatically well conditioned and a compact space situation can be reached.
