The solar filling station to be planned has the task to underline the image of the Technical University of Braunschweig in regard to innovation.
This project contains a solar filling station, a car dealership for solar cars and electrical cars and a small workshop.
20 cars can be refuelled simultaneously. As the refuelling takes a long time, the building is also used as a parking garage. The cars move as in a paternoster eleva-tor around the service area. The photo-voltaic system provides a 10 sqm area of PV modules for each loading berth.
